Barcelona Buildtech Executive Programme

This programme is designed for Executive Tier 1 profiles: CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Heads of Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation, and directors of engineering, architecture and business development. In other words: people with real decision-making power, not people collecting another certificate to decorate a drawer.

It is an in-person executive programme in Barcelona. The experience is built around direct exposure to the city’s AECO ecosystem, combining morning strategy sessions with afternoon benchmarking, site visits and curated executive experiences.

The agenda focuses on the technologies and management models shaping the future of the AECO sector: Generative AI, strategic BIM, digital twins, industrialisation, decarbonisation and ESG, computational design, value-flow optimisation, Lean Construction, and project leadership. The approach is strategic and executive, with strong emphasis on ROI, decision-making and organisational transformation.

Barcelona is positioned in the programme as a real-world laboratory for global AECO transformation. The city brings together innovation districts such as 22@, landmark architecture, urban regeneration, digital construction, smart city models and a strong business ecosystem. That makes it part of the learning model, not just the backdrop for a nice LinkedIn photo.

The methodology is based on executive immersion. It combines four pillars: executive action-learning, real benchmarking in companies and projects, high-level networking, and cultural-strategic experiences. The focus is not just on seeing innovation, but on understanding how to interpret it and apply it inside complex organisations.

Participants are expected to strengthen executive judgement in technology adoption, understand how AI, BIM and industrialisation affect business performance, and define a clear transformation roadmap tailored to their own organisation. The programme is explicitly framed around turning knowledge into executive action and improving competitive positioning.

The fee includes executive masterclasses and workshops, benchmarking sessions and site/company visits, high-level networking sessions, expert-led facilitation, development of a personalised transformation roadmap, and on-site logistical support. There are two fee formats: with accommodation and without accommodation. Meals, flights and travel insurance are not included in the accommodation package, and accommodation/meals are not included in the non-accommodation option.
