ZIGURAT leveraged two of the biggest trade fairs in the industry, the Digital Construction Week in London and the Construmat in Barcelona, to present its new image.

ZIGURAT Institute of Technology surprised the business community and industry professionals by unveiling its new image at two globally renowned events: Digital Construction Week in London and Construmat in Barcelona.

In addition, the institute enhanced the booth exhibition with exciting activities, such as an immersive experience with a virtual reality headset, a presentation on digitalisation strategies and challenges, and a gathering with their community of teachers and students.

Virtual Reality and Local Hub

At the Digital Construction Week in London, held at the renowned ExCeL exhibition centre, ZIGURAT dazzled attendees with their booth design. Visitors also engaged in an immersive experience to discover the final projects of the Alumni of the Postgraduate Program in Virtual Reality for Architecture.

Furthermore, ZIGURAT's brand launch in London counted on the presence of Alumni, professors, and directors of the institution's Master's and Postgraduate programmes. They met in person and networked thanks to ZIGURAT's itinerant international events called Local Hubs.

Digitalisation Strategies and Challenges in the Industry

On the other hand, at the Construmat event in Barcelona, ZIGURAT stood out for its booth and presentation at the fair's Congress on Digitalisation Strategies and Challenges in the construction sector.

The session, moderated by Pau F. Aldomà, CEO of ZIGURAT, featured the participation of professors from ZIGURAT's Master's in Global BIM Management: Sergi Ferrater, BIM/VDC Product Manager at AECon Soluciones, SL., Ioanna Alsasua, Senior BIM Consultant and Chief Operating Officer at SIMBIM® Solutions, and Sergio Muñoz, Co-founder and CEO at Laurentia Technologies and President of the BuildingSMART Spanish Chapter.

During the event, more than 50 attendees engaged in a conversation about the evolution of BIM, the challenges of digitalisation, and the importance of education in addressing the current and future challenges of the industry.
