Xavier is an architect by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), BIM expert (more than 20 years) and partner of the company EiPM (since 2010), a consultancy company specially focused on developing different types of projects, from building, logistics, commercial, sports and infrastructures. EiPM, as a company, is a founding member of the Spanish chapter buildingSMART.
He has participated in the development of different projects, in different roles, applying BIM processes and technology, including: BIM Manager of the BIM As-Built project of the FCB football stadium, BIM Auditor of the FCB Johan Cruyff football stadium project, BIM Developer of automated BIM modelling and data management of 6,000 km of road infrastructure for public administration, among others. He is a specialist in the use and development of several systems: Nemetschek Allplan, Bentley OpenBuilding Designer, Autodesk Revit, Solibri, SimpleBIM, etc.
He is also Project Manager in R&D at EiPM, developing research projects in AI for building process automation, GIS-BIM integrations, BIM database integrations, Point-Cloud data automation and R&D in corporate data management. He is also a code developer (Python, Microsoft VBA, etc.) and Visual Programming developer (FME, Dynamo, etc.).
