Dr. Ghanim Kashwani is an Emirati civil engineer, researcher and academic, serving as Honorary Professor of Practice at ZIGURAT Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and is the first Emirati to become a Fellow Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng-FICE) through the UK's Institution of Civil Engineers.
With experience across both industry and academia, he has held key roles at ADNOC and lectured at institutions such as NYU Abu Dhabi and RIT. His research focuses on construction materials, safety and fire engineering, with publications in top international journals. Recognised by multiple organisations, he has received honorary titles and actively contributes to professional and youth development platforms in the Arab world.
