On November 3, CanBIM will announce the winners of the 2020 CanBIM Innovation Spotlight Awards in seven key categories. Mirbek Bekboliev, the professor of Master’s in Global BIM Management is among the evaluators of this year’s nominees.
CanBIM -the short for Canada BIM Council- is a not-for-profit organization that promotes digital transformation in the Canadian building and infrastructure industry. And proper recognition is one of the best ways to pave the way for such change. That’s why CanBIM rewards its members whose work in one distinct project, technology, process, or one assignment or research project stands out.
The CanBIM Awards were launched in 2014 and has since brought recognition to many innovative projects and companies. In 2020, the awards program received a record number of submissions and the evaluators will have a hard time deciding on the winning projects.
Among them is also Mirbek Bekboliev, Technical Project Manager at BuidlingSMART Germany and the professor of openBIM courses for MEP & Energy Simulation Modules of the Master’s in Global BIM Management.
