Guilherme Guignone is an occupational safety engineer, holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is currently a PhD candidate in Environmental Engineering, with over 20 years of experience in BIM applied to engineering and infrastructure projects. He currently works as an architect and BIM Manager at the Federal Police, and also acts as a BIM coordinator in complex projects, particularly in the airport sector, with extensive experience in planning (4D), cost estimation (5D), coordination and project validation.

He has strong experience in BIM implementation within the public sector, having contributed to strategic initiatives in organisations such as Infraero and the Ministry of Ports and Airports, as well as developing innovative methodologies, including the first Brazilian methodology for supervising airport works using BIM. His technical portfolio includes involvement in more than 30 airports and the coordination of projects exceeding 150,000 m².

He is also the author of research and scientific publications focused on BIM integration, multi-criteria analysis and life cycle assessment (LCA), establishing himself as a reference in BIM applied to infrastructure.
