Telecommunications engineer and MBA by training, Arkaitz has been working in the field of digital transformation consulting for more than 17 years, developing international projects (China, Turkey, Romania, Europe, etc.) for various public and private multi-sector clients. Throughout these years, his work in the integration of CAD and BIM editing systems with management systems (mainly ERP and CMMS) has led him to specialize in the implementation of digital twins in asset and maintenance management systems. Closely linked to IDOM (consulting, engineering and architecture), he has worked in the integration of BIM models with asset systems mainly for the railway and industrial sector. One of his first projects was the development of traffic management plans for the Basque Country, a project in which he got first-hand knowledge of the Basque road network and incident control operations.
