On June 29-30 & July 1, Zigurat welcomes all digital wonderers at its free live event dedicated to the tech era survival skills, the innovation space in general, and the main game-changing technologies. Each day will offer thematic sessions on the innovation agenda in different fields, among which are Business & AI, Blockchain Technologies, Innovative Cities, Data & Business Intelligence, Internet of Things & Security and Digital Supply Chain. Technology serves us to thrive and reach new heights. But to survive the rollercoaster ride of ever-emerging innovations, we need the right tools and skills. With that in mind, Zigurat Innovation & Technology Business School set out to organize an event that would cover developments in various technological fields and bring its audience
a week that will cover all bases of Innovation.Zigurat Innovation Week will hold inspiring talks and insightful discussion panels to outline the tech era survival skills with a special focus on
AI, blockchain technologies, smart cities, IoT, digital supply chains, and business intelligence. Each session will have a short 20-minute presentation to introduce the topic, followed by a discussion panel where our faculty board and invited experts will answer the most burning questions of the moment related to each field.

The first session of Innovation Week will take place on
June 29 at 6:00 pm GMT +2 and will put the spotlight on the
unfulfilled potential of AI and what could be done in companies and society as a whole to live up to that potential. For this session, we will be joined by
Angela Shen-Hsieh, Director of Data Innovation at
Telefónica and Top Data Science Influencer 2020, and
Olivier van Düuren, founder of
Dualarity. They are both professors of our
Global MBA in Digital Business.The second session of Tuesday,
June 29th at 7:30 GMT +2, is dedicated to blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. As the most disruptive technology in the modern digital economy, blockchain has innumerable uses in different industries. This session will explore some of them in relation to
identity management. To discuss the topic in depth, we have invited
Rebecca Johnson, blockchain architect at
Datarella and member of the
European Blockchain Association SSI Working Group.Knowing how to gather, interpret and act on the data generated by your organization will open doors to many potential process improvements. That’s why on the second day of Innovation Week, we have invited digital experts will talk about the survival skills for the age of data. The live session will take place on
June 30 at 6:00 pm GMT +2.As security concerns remain one of the major barriers to a wider IoT adoption, Zigurat Innovation week will dedicate its IoT session to
how to build secure and reliable IoT projects. The live session on
June 30 at 7:30 pm GMT +2 will start with a presentation by
Paul Wealls, the CEO of
IoT North that will be followed by a discussion panel moderated by
Laura Cajade, professor of our
Global Master’s in Internet of Things.
How can a city become a benchmark innovation hub and enable its entrepreneurship ecosystem? That is the question at the heart of this session that on July 1 at 6:00 pm GMT +2 will go live at Innovation Week organized in the framework of the Master's in Global Smart City Management. To find out
what's on the agenda for the supply chain and how new digital solutions are disrupting the business as usual Innovation Week will discuss the digitalization of the logistics industry.
