ZIGURAT Institute of Technology has renewed its strategic alliance with the international consultancy AIDIGITS to launch the 10th edition of the Master’s in Global Smart Construction Industry — a newly rebranded, tailor-made programme developed specifically for AIDIGITS to address the challenges of digital transformation in the AEC sector. This long-standing collaboration demonstrates how ZIGURAT Corporate Services supports professionals and companies by delivering customised training focused on innovation, technology, and developing the next generation of industry leaders.
Since 2020, ZIGURAT and AIDIGITS have worked together to adapt this master’s programme to the specific needs of the company and its professional ecosystem, offering a globally oriented education with a practical focus aligned with real-world sector challenges.
“ZIGURAT not only delivers academic programmes, but also designs tailored training solutions aligned with each company’s strategic goals. AIDIGITS is a clear example of how sustained collaboration can generate real value for teams leading the transformation of the AEC sector,” states Rodrigo Ferreiro, Head of Corporate Relations at ZIGURAT.
As part of this latest edition, the master’s programme introduces a new track in Advanced BIM Modelling – Geotechnical Construction, developed in collaboration with Seequent, The Bentley Subsurface Company, a leader in geotechnical modelling solutions. This new specialisation enables participants to explore advanced BIM applications in complex underground environments, using cutting-edge technology and real-world case studies.
Two distinguished honorary professors also join the academic faculty: Dr Marwan Alzaylaie and Dr Ghanim Kashwani, whose academic and professional backgrounds further enhance the quality of the programme.
Issam El-Absi, CEO of AIDIGITS, celebrates this 10th edition as a milestone in the company’s talent development strategy: “A key pillar of our growth is our alliance with ZIGURAT, which enables us to offer training aligned with the real challenges of our projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa,” he explains. “This master’s programme strengthens our capabilities in BIM, Digital Twins, and smart construction, providing tangible value to our teams and clients.”
ZIGURAT’s corporate training model, known as Advanced Training, is designed for organisations aiming to upskill their professionals in the key competencies needed to lead the future of construction and engineering.
