Coral Lopes is an architect and urban planner, holding a degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with an academic exchange period at the University of Bologna (UNIBO), Italy. She is a certified Graphisoft Archicad BIM Manager and holds a Master's degree in BIM Management from the ZIGURAT Institute of Technology.
She currently works as a Project Coordinator at Cyrela, where she leads the coordination and clash detection of BIM projects, focusing on process standardisation, information quality control, and the implementation of workflows that promote efficiency and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in the implementation and consolidation of BIM processes across projects of varying scales and complexity, gaining extensive experience in BIM modelling, coordination, interoperability, information management, and digital transformation within the construction industry.
As a lecturer, she combines practical industry experience with the technical principles of BIM, providing students with education that reflects the current needs of the construction sector and the best practices in project development and management.
