Feminist Spaces: Redefining Architecture, Urban Design, and the Built Environment

The built environment and its lack of diversity in decision-making contribute to the social and economic disparities experienced by marginalized groups like women, people with disabilities, and sexual and gender minorities.

The session will cover important topics such as: access to public spaces, mobility, safety, health, representation, participation, affordability, and accessibility, social support and community connections, empowerment and agency, child-friendly and family-friendly spaces, sustainability, and environmental justice.
