Zigurat Global Institute of Technology will host 18 engineers from the Algerian corporate Amenhyd, an initiative that falls under their ambitious plan for implementing Building Information Modelling (BIM) Management in all its construction projects. This first training phase is part of Amenhyd’s global BIM implementation process led by the  Zigurat’s academic partners: Consolidated Contractor Company (CCC) from Greece and the Algerian consultancy called MBIM. The Zigurat’s Master’s in BIM Management for Infrastructure Projects is an international online program developed in partnership with Consolidated Contractor Company and its BIM Center - BIM Academy, accredited by the IL3-University of Barcelona. Consolidated Contractor Company is one of the companies with more experience implementing new technologies and collaborative construction methods, and offers with Zigurat the unique course in the world that trains engineers and architects to lead BIM mega projects in different infrastructures: roads and highways, tunnels and bridges, railways and metro lines, architectural buildings and underground facilities.  In addition, the program includes the possibility of carrying out a one-week on-site training in some of the big projects that Consolidated Contractor Company is working on, with classes and lectures by the experts involved, like the previous ones in the Abu Dhabi Airport Midfield Terminal Building.  With this training and with the help of the consultants, Amenhyd will try to lead the BIM adoption in Algeria developing pilot projects and providing best practices in the sector. The BIM implementation is aligned with Amenhyd strategy to become one of the Algerian leaders in digital transformation, diversify its business model, develop complex projects across the country and create a BIM corporate establishment in Algeria.
