OUR PROFESSOR DAVID DELGADO WILL PARTICIPATE AS A SPEAKER AT BILT EUROPE

David Delgado, expert in ARCHICAD and professor of the Master’s in Global BIM Management at Zigurat Global Institute of Technology, will present collaborative methodology in the framework of interoperability through the use of ARCHICAD at the BILT Europe event taking place the 11th-13th of October in Slovenia. He will do so by exploring the Open BIM workflow between different disciplines, such as architecture and facilities.
Positioned as one of the leading events in Europe, in this edition, BILT has opted to expand its horizons to new environments with the aim of putting the focus on collaborative work through the use of open standards or IFC.
With this focus, a set of sessions dedicated to ARCHICAD has been created, in which David Delgado will participate, among other international experts such as Nathan Hildebrandt (Fulton Trotter Architects, AUS) and Kristian Bursell (CADSWIFT, AUS).
One of the fundamental pillars of the teaching team of Zigurat is to always stay at the forefront of innovation, staying in direct contact with the industry and actively participating in the events and conferences of the sector on an international level.
About Professor Delgado
David Delgado is an architect and CEO of DDV Arquitectura, a micro-architecture office and BIM consultancy. He is specialist in the use of the ArchiCAD platform and the use of open standards for BIM implementation, also called openBIM.
He is an active member of the BIM User Group of Catalonia (GuBIMCat) and a partner of buildingSMART Spanish Chapter. He also represents in the IUG (International User Group) of buildingSMART International. He collaborates in the "We Build the Future" Commission of ITEC in Catalonia in representation of CoAC, the National Architects Association and has co-authored the BIM classification system "GuBIMclass," an initiative of GuBIMCat and Infraestructures de Catalunya.
Delgado is a beta-tester of the ITEC TCQ2000 4D-5D software as an expert in ArchiCAD and interoperability between both platforms. Futhermore, he has developed beta-testing tasks also for Graphisoft's BIMx tool and the Android system.
