Zigurat was at the Digital Construction Week 2022, the most prestigious European event dedicated to technology and innovation in the built environment
On May 17-18, our team traveled to the UK to represent Zigurat - Global Institute of Technology at the Digital Construction Week 2022, the most prestigious European event dedicated to innovation and technology of the built environment, which took place at ExcEl in London. This year’s show had thousands of visitors and gathered in one place more than 150 exhibitors from the most inspiring brands of the industry and more than 200 distinguished speakers who delivered insightful talks on the latest trends, technologies, tools, and the most innovative and sustainable strategies to cope with the most urgent challenges we face today. As a leading e-learning institute of technology with more than 20 years of existence, Zigurat presented to participants its programs, constantly reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and, therefore, to the SDGs set out in the 2030 Agenda. Sustainable development has always been one of Zigurat's primary concerns. Since the beginning, our mission has always been to ensure an inclusive, innovative, and top-quality education entirely in line with the various sustainable goals and the market oscillating shifts and requirements.The Zigurat's presence at the DCW 2022 did not go unnoticed. Some of our Masters’ directors and co-directors attended the event, such as Bruno Mota, Director of the Master Internacional em Gestão de Projetos na Construção and David Philip, co-Director of the Master’s in Global BIM Management, who gave a talk entitled “Digital Transformation brought to you by Construction Innovation Hub”. In addition, the Alumni of our Master’s in Global BIM Management have also contributed to the success of the DCW 2022. In this context, we counted on the presence of Anas Ayoub, founder and CEO of XD House in Dubai, and Cristina Ruiz Nolasco, Construction Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine in the UK, who spoke about "Automated Project Controls Power BI". They are the best example that Zigurat's programs enhance the skills and know-how of the professionals, give them a competitive advantage over other professionals in the industry, and make them move forward in their careers. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that during these two days, Zigurat offered thousands of visitors the chance to play the game “Roll the Dice” and win several prizes, among which courses from our rooftop platform! The Rooftop is the global reference self-training platform for those working in engineering, architecture, and digital transformation, given by the most prominent experts in each field. With these courses, you can keep up with the latest trends and boost your professional skills at your own pace, wherever and whenever you want. DCW 2022 gave attendees a unique opportunity to discover the latest developments that are transforming, improving, and increasing project efficiency in the industry, from digital twins, automatization, artificial intelligence and augmented reality, information management, robotics and the most recent software solutions, techniques and methodologies.
