Masterclass: How does Blockchain change the world
This masterclass presented by Robin Weninger, Co-Founder & Managing Director of shapingwork and Advisory Board Member to H2020 Projects at European Commission, is dedicated to the trust and transparency economy that blockchain reinforces.
It’s a medium level overview session, that offers a broader perspective to where and how blockchain would fit into our society and what challenges it could tackle in an environment where everything is going to be connected in one way or another. Understanding those technology networks and connected devices is important to correctly describe the dimensions of the footprint blockchain will leave on our political systems, societal processes and business procedures.
Speaking about the networks, there are five key factors that define their success: trust, transparency, clear process of access, rules of use and participation itself. Blockchain-based network brings in transparency and though that transparency it creates trust that permits us to cut out the intermediaries.
