William Caballero is a civil engineer from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with solid international specialisation in structural engineering completed at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya: Seismic-Resistant Design and Rehabilitation of Buildings and Bridges, Master’s in Structural and Construction Engineering, Postgraduate Programme in Advanced Structural Analysis and Design, and Master’s in the Design and Restoration of Architectural Structures. He has more than 25 years of professional experience focused on structural design for buildings and industrial warehouses in reinforced concrete and structural steel, as well as steel structure design and seismic-resistant analysis.
He combines his technical work with a broad teaching career. He has led and developed academic programmes at ZIGURAT and, since 2012, has taught at Colombian universities in the field of structural engineering. His profile brings together practical experience, academic vision and a particular focus on steel structures, structural pathology and construction solutions for social housing.
