Byron Cadena is an Ecuadorian architect, urbanist and data analyst with more than seven years of professional experience. He holds a degree in Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and has completed postgraduate studies including a Master in City & Technology and a Master’s in Analysis and Visualisation of Big Data.
Since 2023 he is part of IDOM, working in the International Consultancy Area as an Urban Planner within the City & Territory department. His career has been recognised with numerous national and international awards and distinctions, highlighting his work as an urbanist and social actor on high-impact projects. He has collaborated with architectural studios and academic institutions, leading projects across Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, from local interventions to large metropolitan developments.
Byron specialises in using advanced tools to transform urban analysis, planning, design and visualisation. His approach integrates digital technologies to create sustainable, ecological and people-centred urban environments, offering innovative, human-centred solutions to the challenges of 21st-century cities.
