Daniel is a Civil Engineer, currently PhD(c) from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Politecnico di Torino, specialized in the study of complex facades, energy efficiency and comfort analysis of high performance buildings.
Throughout his career, he has held consulting roles in civil engineering, building physics and energy modeling. Simultaneously, he has devoted time to research and teaching in the field of building physics. His expertise focuses on the study of near-zero energy buildings (nZEB), building design optimization, indoor environment quality, energy simulation, sustainable certification systems and renewable energy.
