Mr. Ureña holds a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. He also has a Professional Master's Degree in Analysis of Existing Buildings from the Erasmus Mundus Programme of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Technical University of the Czech Republic, where he completed his thesis. He is a graduate of the International Master in Steel Structures ZIGURAT Programme University of Barcelona, he has a speciality in Steel Joints from INESA - University of Barcelona. He currently works as a professor of metallic structures and masonry at UACA and Finite Element at UCR. He has 19 years of experience in design.
